The Rundown: Marcus decides to find the person who killed Jess and finds something unexpected.

After being brought in by the police and questioned, Marcus is determined to find out who killed Jess and why. He decides to break into her apartment to see if the police missed something, but is discovered by Vee who surprises him into passing out again.
Waking up in the interrogation room, Marcus is helped by detective Dean who believes in Marcus’ sincere desire to help. After confronting Marcus with information he got from Jess’ electronics, Marcus is left reeling with the revelation that one of his friends has a connection to the woman Marcus didn’t know about.
The Story: Wagner continues to create an intriguing, entertaining and compelling mystery in this issue. The story continues to build in both momentum and drama with secrets being revealed, relationships tested and suspicions growing. I like the slow world building of this series and how it is setting up new and interesting elements without sacrificing good pacing and engaging characters.
The Art: Hilyard delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I really love the visual style and the character designs.
