The Rundown: Kutter learns more about than she bargained for as Moebius deals with the consequences of his actions.

Pilgrim and Moebius leave the Cubes and Pilgrim decides to leave. Moebius is confronted by a group of Powers who live in the building and tell him that he has to move out. As they confront him, a fight breaks out and he has to use his powers as well as his authority as a detective to take them down and bring them in.

Kutter has started working for Simms at Legacy Star. She begins to discover some of its secrets including the portals they have been working on. She also discovers who else was at the poker game with the victim and one of them calls Simms needing to talk. As the pair go to visit her, they discover that there is another victim in Kutter’s investigation.

The Story: Bendis crafts a thrilling adventure in this issue. I continue to love the mystery at the heart of this series. I love that the story is split between both characters and how each part of the story informs the whole. Both parts ramp up drama in different ways. Moebius deals with personal drama as he is challenged by being both a power and a police officer and Kutter is challenged in trusting her new boss as her investigation heats up. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Michael Avon Oeming delivers stunning art throughout the issue. The visuals are exciting and vibrant with great action and surprises.
