The Rundown: Edward recruits Angie for one last game against the Masterminds.

After their last encounter, Edward confronts Angie at the train station to convince her to help him finally bring down Mastwerminds after what they tricked the pair into doing. He not only confesses his feelings for her, but also his plan to infiltrate their meeting and take back what they forced him to take from their boss.

Unfortunately, their plan runs into several snags that result in Angie getting caught and Edward paraded in front of the entire group. It also forces Edward to confront one of the members after discovering that it is someone he knows. What the Masterminds do not realize is that Edward is playing his own game with his own rules this time.

The Story: Kaplan brings this story to a slick, stylish and satisfying conclusion. There are some great twists and thrills throughout the issue and I love the action a lot. There are some smart and engaging moments throughout this finale and I really like how the twists are revealed and what they mean for both the characters and the group. I would love to see this world explored again and another confrontation between these two opposing forces.

The Art: Thompson creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and how it plays with the darkness within moments as well as the character designs.
