The Rundown: Jackie learns some dark truths and takes some even darker actions.

After discovering the truth about what happened to Jenny’s family, Jackie calls in a friend to not only check on his uncle, but to arrange for her safety while he deals with not only Sonatine, but the angels hunting him down. He also takes the time to speak with the demons helping him and learns more about them and their purpose.
Jackie lingers too long and daylight brings another attack from the angels whose leader decides to make him a deal. After Jackie pays a visit to his uncle, he learns the truth about why he was adopted and decides to forge his own violent path forward.
The Story: Silvestri creates some dark, intense and thrilling moments throughout the story. The issue does a great job of showcasing the issues Jackie will face as well as allowing him to tie up some loose ends in his former life. I continue to enjoy the mystery being revealed in this series and this issue does a great job of keeping me invested in Jackie and his journey.
The Art: All of the artists deliver stunning and brilliantly detailed work throughout the issue. All of the pages and artists complement each other stylistically.
