The Rundown: Goliath and Darkwing chase Demona back to St Canard as she prepares to unleash a new threat.
Demona has escaped from her warehouse leaving Darkwing Duck, Goliath and their allies pondering what her next move will be. Unfortunately, Gosalyn will be the one to find that out when she is captured in the mirror dimension and forced to help Demona find a dangerously powerful magical tome.
Gosalyn manages to escape and find her father. After telling him what happened, the team splits up with Darkwing and Goliath going after Demona directly while the rest of the teams help Morgana. When the two confront Demona, they discover that she has released Darkwing’s most dangerous foe.
The Story: Stones and Weisman continue to create a fun and thoroughly entertaining story in this issue. I love the rising stakes and tension throughout the story and how those moments are balanced with humor and a joyful tone that keeps me engaged both in the story and with the characters. I really enjoy this crossover and look forward to seeing what happens in the next issue.
The Art: Cangiolosi crafts beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the art style and how it complements both genres.
