The creators of Dungeons and Daddies, the popular improvised comedy podcast hosted by Anthony Burch, Freddie Wong, Matthew Arnold, Beth May, and Will Campos, have announced their first official tabletop RPG sourcebook: Dungeons and Daddies: Not a BDSM Sourcebook.

Designed to be both a fully playable 5E-compatible campaign setting and an in-universe artifact, the book expands on the world of the podcast’s first season, which follows four suburban dads unexpectedly transported into a fantasy world on a quest to rescue their children. Since launching in 2019, Dungeons and Daddies has become one of the most popular actual play podcasts, building a dedicated fan base through its blend of improvised comedy, emotional storytelling, and questionable decision-making.
A crowdfunding campaign supporting the book’s release is launching July 21 on BackerKit.

The sourcebook includes a full range of 5E-compatible content for players, including classes, subclasses, spells, items, monsters, and adventures. Structured as a chaotic road trip through a series of strange, loosely remembered locations, the book presents its content as a “found” survival guide written by multiple conflicting voices.

“This sourcebook is our podcast’s humble offering to the learned world of letters, and we believe it will provide both TTRPG players, fans, and DMs alike a fresh new perspective on how to approach their sessions. Additionally, this sourcebook has been designed from the ground up to be THE premier experience for reading material while on the toilet. We achieve this with funny words, colorful pictures, and tables full of different numbers.” Freddie Wong, Cast Member on Dungeons and Daddies Podcast.
In addition to the core book, the upcoming crowdfunding campaign will include a range of optional add-on items to complement the experience. Items include dice sets, in-universe props, and other physical pieces that expand on the world of the podcast.

Key Features Include:
● Travel to iconic locations like Ballsdeep, Roqueporte, and Meth Bay on a fantasy road trip spanning levels 1-20
● Choose from dad-flavored character options and Daddy Magic-infused subclasses, including Garden Witch and Unfortunate Foster Child
● Master the mysterious art of Daddy Magic, and cast over 30 new spells, including the incredibly useful Speak Japanese
● Customize your own minivan. You can use it in combat, but we don’t recommend that because you’ll probably die
● Solve hidden puzzles so devious they could only have been created by Scam Likely
● Visit fully franchised Bull-E-Wugs locations

“If you’re new to roleplaying, this book is for you. If you’re an experienced roleplayer who doesn’t super-duper care about rules, this book is for you. If you get irritated when someone rolls a skill check when it should have been an ability save, you should probably rip this book into individual pages, papier mache those pages into a knife, and stab the person who recommended this book to you with it.” – Anthony Burch, Daddy Master of Dungeons and Daddies Podcast
Dungeons and Daddies: Not a BDSM Sourcebook will be available through an upcoming crowdfunding campaign launching on July 21.
