Darrington Press, the publishing arm of Critical Role, officially launched A Familiar Find, a charming, fast-paced, and strategic new card game set in the world of Exandria, now available worldwide.

In A Familiar Find, players step into the paws, claws, and wings of loyal animal companions on
a critical mission. Across Exandria, powerful spellcasters are searching for rare magical ingredients—and it’s up to their trusted familiars to be the first to gather them. Players race through ever-shifting magical locations, collect key components, and outwit rival familiars determined to sabotage their plans.

Bluffs will be called. Traps will be set. Strategies will be tested at every turn. With quick rounds, easy-to-learn rules, and a deck full of surprises, A Familiar Find delivers a fresh and delightfully magical experience with every game.

Fans can play as an adored familiar from Critical Role Campaigns 1–3, including Trinket, Mister, and Pâté, alongside a wonderful selection of additional original characters. The game features 10 unique Familiar Character Boards, each offering distinct abilities and playstyles.

With 84 Arcane Cards and 13 Location Cards, gameplay remains dynamic and ever-evolving.
To win, players must be the first to collect three Astral Essence cards or complete a full set of
Ingredients to finish their caster’s spell.
