The Rundown: Negative makes a bold move and learns some dangerous information.

James Wesley is on his way to a meeting when he is intercepted and taken to Mr. Negative who wants to know everything he knows about Kingpin. Unfortunately, his powers over Wesley reveal that he is also Mysterio. At the same time, Li tells Wesley the story of his life, the emergence of his powers and how he and his sister took over the underworld.
As Li learns more about the Mysterio organization, he decides to send Wesley back to them with a message. As they gather to discuss Gwen’s secretive actions, Wesley reveals something that will shatter the group as Li prepares to remove all opposition to Fisk before targeting the man himself.
The Story: Hickman pulls off another stunning and surprising story in this issue. I love not knowing where the story is going to take me and this one crafts a great ride to be on and witness as you learn more about this version of Martin Li’s past as well as what he wants and what he is willing to do to get it. There are some great thrills and surprises in this issue and the cliffhanger was pitch perfect as far as holding my interest and making me excited for more.
The Art: Messina delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the focus on characters visually throughout.
