The Rundown: Darkwing and Goliath take on Demona and her newest ally, Paddywhack.

Launchpad and his team are racing to St. Canard as Goliath and Darkwing find themselves facing off against Demona and the resurrected Paddywhack who has agreed to help her destroy all of humanity. As the two heroes fight, Darkwing gets some help from one of Morgana’s pets as the sorceress herself works on a spell to get the remaining Gargoyles through the mirror dimension and into the fight.
The other team makes their way to Demona’s base and join the battle as Angela faces her mother and the others arrive to rescue Darkwing and Goliath. Morgana uses her magic on Paddywhack, but Demona might have another trick up her sleeve before the battle is over.
The Story: Stones and Weisman perfectly stick the landing with this crossover. It is incredibly fun and entertaining. The story progresses beautifully and there are great moments of action and adventure throughout the issue. I love the banter between the characters and the growing stakes of the danger they face. The story brings all of the plot elements to a great conclusion that is both fun and entertaining.
The Art: Cangialosi creates beautiful art in the issue that brilliantly captures the look and tone of both animated series.
