The Rundown: The Fallbacks discover a long buried conspiracy.

The Fallbacks came to the city with one goal, to rob the treasury. Unfortunately, getting to be heroes has made things more difficult as they become immersed in the politics of the town as well as the corruption at its heart. Things get even worse when the team notices that their leader Tess continues to be distracted by her rival and old flame Angrilyne.
As they continue to plan their heist, the rest of the team attends a local party with the town’s elite and discover firsthand how deep the corruption goes in how they treat the local kobold population. A revelation that will lead to not only an epic battle against their rivals, but the revelation of a deeper secret connecting the town and the dragon they recently fought.
The Story: Pak creates a fun, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. As a fan of the world of Dungeons and Dragons and player myself, I loved immersing myself in this world and with this rich and interesting characters. I love the reluctant hero trope a lot and it is used really well in moments where the characters are confronted with the reality of the town and are forced to finally do something about it. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next issue.
The Art: Miguel Angel Ruiz creates beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the fluidity of the action as well as the character designs.
