The Rundown: Sophie goes looking for the final member of the party while the others face betrayal.

After discovering what Violet has done, the pair return to the rest of the party where Molly is itching to have her revenge on the person who brought them all to Die and Margaret is prepared to let her. After some tense moments, the group decide to stay together while Sophie goes looking for the last member so they can all go home.

As she begins her journey and discovers who she is looking for, Callum and the other settle in for the night and wait. Sophie’s journey proves relatively simple, but their return to the group will reveal a scene of horror and a message from a member of the party who wants to continue playing the game.

The Story: Gillen continues to take me on a unique and engaging journey in this series and this issue is no exception. There are moments of great tension throughout the story as the characters deal with the inclusion of Violet and her role in their journey. There are moments of emotion as Sophie deals with the new member of the party and his role in their lives and there is a great buildup of suspense to the final cliffhanger that changes everything about the world and these characters. I cannot wait to see what the fallout of that final moment will be for Sophie and the rest of the party.

The Art: Hans creates beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs a lot.
