The Rundown: An aging actor gets a second chance at saving his career.

Russell Colton is a former actor living in Hollywood who has been doing the small lecture circuit for cash talking about one of the industry’s biggest bombs that he starred in back in the late fifties. Unable to find other work, Colton is bitter and alone with only his dog to keep him company.
When he finds himself going back in time, he attempts to find a way to get his younger self to drop out of the movie. When that fails, he takes more extreme actions to stop the movie from being made. A decision that will force him to make an unexpected choice and just might save more than his future.
The Story: Hardman crafts an intense, introspective and engaging story in this issue. It has all the hallmarks that make Twilight Zone so great. I love the science fiction elements of the plot, but it is the human story that grabbed my attention. I love redemption arcs even when they come from unexpected places and this one takes some interesting twists and turns that make it something special. I truly enjoyed this issue and cannot wait to see what comes next in this series.
The Art: Hardman delivers stunning imagery and art throughout this issue. I love the visuals and how they capture the look and feel of the Twilight Zone.
