The Rundown: Firestorm takes on the Justice League as Lorraine goes looking for help.

To stop the threat of Firestorm, members of the Justice League attempt to intervene while a flashback to a government meeting Stein produces some interesting information. As Firestorm subsequently takes down each member of the League including Batman and Flash, Lorraine goes to see Jason seeking help.

After not finding the help she needs, Lorraine goes hunting for Professor Stein and finally finds the man alone in a cabin in the woods where he admits to a shocking betrayal that could change everything. At the same time, Firestorm decides to leave the small town and head straight for a bigger city with a larger population.

The Story: Lemire continues to craft a dark, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. I loved the battle with the League and how one sided it was in relation to the power of Firestorm. There were some intense moments throughout the issue and I love the parallel investigation with Lorraine as well as what she discovers. The story builds to a dark cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: De Latorre crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue and I love the character designs a lot.
