The Rundown: The crew fight assimilation, Kirk fights for the crew and one member fights to hold onto a secret.

In order to save the galaxy, Agnes decides to use her Borg technology to use the discovered singularity to create a new galaxy. As she attempts to assimilate Sato and the others, Zed discovers that the drugs coursing through his body is preventing the assimilation from taking over. Zed decides to take an unusual approach to curing the captain and discovers that another crewmember is hiding a dark secret.
At the same time, Kirk decides that the only way to stop Agnes is to confront her directly. He beams over to the research station and she pulls him into her mind where he sees the scope of both her loneliness and her plan. He tries to give her an alternative unaware of another threat growing on the Omega. One growing inside one of the crew as part of a long and potentially deadly plan.
The Story: Lanzing and Kelly continue to craft a dark, interesting and engaging story in this issue. Things are taking some interesting turns throughout the plot and I love the parallel stories happening both with Kirk and with the crewmember and her secret. I liked the Jurati element a lot and how she sees both the crew of the Omega and Kirk. The story continues to take huge swings and chances and I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Gonzalez delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I absolutely love the character designs and the attention to detail in every page and panel.
