The Rundown: Marcus discovers who the killer really is, but it might already be too late.

Marcus receives another visit from Detective Dean who chides him for his recent decisions and tells him that he cannot protect him anymore. Marcus decides to rest, but someone sets fire to his apartment and he barely escapes.
Regrouping at Kase’s place, Marcus continues to lose it until he gets a fresh perspective on the case and the possible killer. After searching for Detective McCall, he enters her door and discovers her dead and that he has been setup to be the killer.
The Story: Wagner continues to craft a great mystery in this issue. I really like the direction this story is going and all the twists and turns it takes with Marcus and the people around him. The reveal of the actual killer is well handled and creates some interesting stakes for Marcus and the people he cares about as the story continues. There is a great buildup of suspense throughout the story and I look forward to seeing where it goes next.
The Art: Hilyard creates some great visual moments throughout the issue. From the fire to the final reveal at the end of the issue, the art brilliantly captures the tension and suspense of each moment.
