The Rundown: To find his missing sister, Riley will have to unleash the monster inside him.

Lil is on the run hiding from the woman she discovered is the real serial killer. Patty and her friends have descended on the convention to find her daughter while Riley’s friends are trying to help in their own way.
Lil manages to escape and the woman goes after her leading to a chase to the local zoo and prompting Riley and his dad to take dramatic action to break out of the local jail to help their family. Action that will require Riley to fully embrace the monster he doesn’t want to become and leading to a reunion with the family as Patty confronts the real killer at the heart of her investigation.
The Story: DeConnick brings this story to a sweet, fun and engaging conclusion filled with great action, thrills and heart. There are so many great moments between the characters and I love the world of this series. There are several different narrative elements at play throughout this issue and all of them work to not only enhance the story itself, but to make the characters more interesting with each moment. I really enjoyed this story and hope to see more of this world in the future.
The Art: Lopez creates some beautifully detailed and visually impressive art throughout the issue. I continue to love the visual style of this series and how it captures emotion, humor and heart with each page.
