The Rundown: Starck recounts her time on the Event Horizon as the new people on board discover its evil first hand.

Starck has been fighting on board the Event Horizon for countless years after the initial incident that split the ship in two. She recounts the times she has died and come back because of the ship needing something from her and how she and Cooper were fighting to survive until he finally found a final way out.
In the present, Starck finds herself defending two of the new visitors to the ship and unwittingly giving the ship something that it wants while the others make their way on board to begin the next part of their plan and Weir awaits the new visitors from inside the gravity drive.
The Story: Ward continues to craft a dark, thrilling adventure in this issue. I love seeing the story unfold from Starck’s point of view and how her presence makes sense in the plot and world of this story given the amount of time that has passed within it. I like the dark tone of the plot and the mystery that is unfolding within it and look forward to seeing just how dark and interesting this story will become.
The Art: Carey creates some visually striking and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I really love the art style and character designs.
