The Rundown: Superman teams with Hawkman to stop a rampaging Parasite.
Lois Lane is on the run after Jimmy has been captured by Parasite. The creature has grown to engulf the city and Superman and Hawkman are the only two seemingly not captured by the creature. As the pair continue to clash, Superman is worried that he can no longer hear Lois. At the same time, Talia attempts to break out her father from prison.
Superman discovers that Lois has been captured by the creature, but his presence allows her to break free. After discovering a way to stop the creature, Superman and Hawkman work together to free the city and Kal El leaves Hall with a message for his masters while Brainiac continues his work with Lex Luthor.
The Story: Aaron crafts a thrilling adventure in this issue. The story is filled with great action and thrills, but the highlight is the tension between Superman and Hawkman and how those characters interact. I liked the B story with Talia and Ras and how that relationship has changed. What really grabbed me was the end of the issue and the cliffhanger with Brainiac and Lex. I cannot wait to see what happens with that story going forward.
The Art: Ferreyra creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the character designs.
