Y: The Last Man based on the comic book series from Brian K Vaughn and Pia Guerra is still coming, but it is making a change in where you’ll be able to see it.
According to reports, the series will be moving. It was originally set to air on the FX network, but will now air as part of Disney’s FX on HULU along with Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Stories anthology series.
Y: The Last Man tells the story of a global pandemic that wipes out the male population on the planet. The series follows escape artist Yorick after a mysterious plague as he sets out to find what might have wiped out the male chromosome. The series has been in development in one way or another since 2007 and recently brought in a new showrunner and recast its lead before production shut down due to coronavirus. The series currently stars Diane Lane, Ben Schnetzer, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield, Elliot Fletcher, Marin Ireland and Amber Tamblyn.
No release date for the series has been given and no news on when production will continue. Most of the upcoming slate for FX on HULU has been moved from fall 2020 to 2021.
