The Rundown: The X-Men teams battle each other in the belly of their former home.

With both X-Men teams inside the former Xavier Institute looking for their missing teammates, the forces allied against them are pushing their emotions into a conflict with each other while also releasing fellow mutants for them to fight against as they get closer to finding their missing members.

Nightcrawler and Psylocke get separated from the rest of the fight and might have discovered the location of Xavier within the prison. At the same time, tension between the teams continue to rise as both Rogue and Cyclops clash about their missions and their ultimate goal. As the tension grows, both groups of X-Men will discover the identity of the hidden prisoner within Graymalkin Prison.

The Story: MacKay crafts an intense, entertaining and thrilling story in this issue. A fun and engaging chase that showcases the tenuous nature of life after Krakoa. I like seeing the characters struggle in new ways and there is some great tension throughout the story. MacKay and Simone are crafting a great adventure for both teams. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.

The Art: Vicentini and Stegman craft some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the art from both artists and the style complement each other perfectly.
