The Rundown: A small strike team goes into the field when an enemy tries to make entertainment out of killing mutants.

Trevor Fitzroy has decided to use his team of Upstarts to being some entertainment to the masses. Entertainment in the form of live streaming his team hunting down and killing fellow mutants, especially the new ones that have been showing up in the wake of Krakoa.

With the psychics on another mission, Cyclops puts Magik in charge of the team and forces Beast to go along. As the team engages the Upstarts, Fitzroy knows that there is something darker to his mission and there is a familiar face behind the scenes guiding their actions.

The Story: MacKay crafts a thrilling ride of a story in this issue. The action is beautifully brutal and showcases the talents of the characters. The story has a wonderfully dark and interesting tone with the characters dealing with not only the external conflict, but also their own internal demons. I like seeing the division among some of these characters and how those conflicts seem to be boiling over into something intriguing.

The Art: Diaz delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are wonderfully detailed and the fight scenes are engaging.
