The Rundown: Magik goes on a mission to save other mutants that might cost her everything.
The war is on between the mutants and Orchis and an infected Magik is on a mission to liberate an Orchis detention center. As the nanites within her prevent her teleportation powers from working, she is forced to take the direct approach until her backup arrives.
As Ilyanna receives some much needed help from her friends, Emma coordinates with the others before getting a message from Cyclops regarding a possible ally that could help them in the next phase of their plan.
The Story: Duggan continues to create an entertaining story that fleshes out and expands the mutant universe and its war. I really enjoy the world Duggan is creating in this series. There is some great action throughout the issue and I love seeing the mutants go on the offensive as they come together.
The Art: Noto continues to delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I liked the visual style a lot and it works well for the characters.
