The Rundown: The X-Men find themselves in the middle of an alien invasion while searching for a mutant.

Cerebro has pinged a mutant in San Francisco in need of help and Cyclops leads his team of X-Men into the city to find and help him. Unfortunately, an alien invasion stands in the way of the team and their mission.

As they split into two teams, Cyclops leads the hunt for the mutant while the others fight the alien ships hovering over the city. What no one knows is that there is something strange about this invasion and it could be connected to the mutant they seek.

The Story: MacKay crafts a solid follow up in this issue. There is some great action and thrills throughout and I enjoy seeing this team at work. There are some fun moments with the characters and I really loved the moments with Juggernaut. Unfortunately, the story felt predictable for the most part. I could tell exactly what was going to happen moment by moment and the final twist was not particularly surprising. Still an entertaining story.

The Art: Stegman delivers some great art in the issue. The visuals are exciting and beautifully detailed throughout.
