The Rundown: Cyclops and his team find themselves in battle against an angry young mutant and another team.

With Quentin missing, the team is still split as Temper discovers that the young girl she was trying to help wasn’t the mutant, her absorbed twin was. As the twin emerges from the body of a dead alien to live on its own, its consciousness is discovered by Cassandra Nova who sends it on a path of destruction towards the town.
While the X-Men fight to contain the rampaging mutant, their plans are thwarted by Nova’s control. At the same time, they find themselves confronted by 3K and their team of mutants. A team calling themselves the X-Men.
The Story: MacKay crafts a thrilling adventure filled with reveals and surprises. I really enjoyed the twists and turns this issue takes with the characters as well as keeping the suspense going with the missing Quentin Quire. There is wall to wall action throughout this issue and everything leads to some big surprises that had me intrigued and entertained as I wonder what could possibly happen next in this story.
The Art: Stegman and Villa deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. I love how beautifully detailed the action is on every page and panel.
