Deron GenerallyThe highly anticipated Wonder Woman sequel (tentatively titled Wonder Woman ’84) is currently in production and has already started filming and the director has released a first look at one of the sequels stars.
Actress Kristen Wiig has been cast as Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah in the new film that has Wonder Woman in the 80’s dealing with a Cold War threat. While it looks like Wiig is pre-Cheetah transformation in this shot, we might get to see her in action at some point as filming progresses.

Jenkins has already showcased photos from the shoot before with a look at Chris Pine returning as Steve Trevor in the sequel. It’s unclear what the significance of Wiig’s photo is, if any, but it does signal that the production is on and the film will be coming soon.
Wonder Woman 84 is expected to be released November 1, 2019.
