The Rundown: Wonder Woman heads to space for a very important encounter.
In the midst of Diana’s conflict with the government, she takes her invisible jet out to deep space to a location not many know of, an alien mall. She meets with Superman and the two decide to spend their day looking for something they think might almost be impossible to find, a birthday present for Batman.
After agonizing on what to get the Bat who has everything, the pair decide to enjoy their day discussing things before the subject turns to the darkness Diana and the Amazons are facing.
The Story: King delivers a fun side story for the characters in this issue. The arc has been incredibly dark and taxing for Diana and this issue does a great job of giving her a reprieve from those events as well as giving Clark the opportunity to question her about what is troubling her. I really liked the tone of this issue and look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: March delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The character designs are great and I love the beautifully detailed backgrounds.
