The trajectory forward for the release of the sequel to the smash hit Wonder Woman has taken an unexpected direction.
Today, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot took to her Twitter feed to announce that the sequel’s release date has been moved from November 2019 to July of 2020.
Super excited to announce that, thanks to the changing landscape, we are able to put Wonder Woman back to its rightful home. June 5, 2020. Be there or be square!!!

“We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did. This move lands the film exactly where it belongs.” says Warner Brothers domestic distribution boss Jeff Goldstein.
(This move removes Mark Wahlberg’s Six Billion Dollar Man film from the studio release schedule.)
