The Rundown: Logan decides to finish his revenge mission by going after both friend and foe.
A battered Logan makes his way to a local port to get on a ship headed to Russia. A ship that will bring him to the location of the final working reactor on Earth and straight into the tentacles of Omega Red.
Logan takes on Omega Red before finding Deadpool waiting at the lip of the failing reactor and the two have an interesting conversation before Logan finishes his business with Wade and makes his way to his real target, Colossus.
The Story: I have loved the momentum of this story and the dark tone of it. Unfortunately, Hickman rushes through this issue in a way that throws off the pace of the others. After the big build up of the other issues, the final encounters with the last three happen so fast there is no sense of emotional attachment to the fights or their stakes. I really wanted each issue to be an encounter with characters that have shaped Wolverine in one way or another and this felt rushed.
The Art: Capullo delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and I love the style of the imagery throughout.
