The Rundown: Logan’s battle against the Vampire continues as they continue to hunt him for Dracula’s master plan.
After seeking help in his fight against the Vampire Nation from the Nightguard, Logan was surprised to discover that the organization has been taken over by vampires and his ally Louise has become one herself. As she fights to hold onto her humanity, her fellow hunters are not as lucky and the two find themselves fighting the newly transformed vampires. A feat that becomes harder and harder as the voice of Dracula grows louder in her head.
At the same time, Omega Red finds a scientist working for Dracula and makes him an offer that might help them both. Logan manages to find some help from Forge to keep Louise protected as they plot their next move. Unfortunately, Omega Red arrives on the island and has a proposal for Wolverine and X-Force. A proposal that will give the Vampire nation exactly what it wants, but they might like the gift they are about to receive.
The Story: Percy delivers a great Wolverine story in this issue. Beyond the action and adventure, Logan is allowed to be a more interesting and dynamic character throughout. The story is great. The dialogue was amazing and I loved how the story moved to its knockout conclusion. It was brilliantly done and made me excited for what comes next.
The Art: Eaton delivers some visually stunning moments throughout and the art does a beautiful job of matching the tone and mood of the story.
