The Rundown: Sara confronts Irons and discovers how powerful he can be.
Kenneth Irons waits in his office knowing that the Witchblade is coming to him. After a short meeting with the mysterious Jackie Estacado from the Franchetti crime family, Sara is waiting at the bottom of his massive skyscraper. After making her way to the top of the building, she confronts Irons and discovers that Ian has betrayed her.
Seeing a room full of dangerous criminals and creatures, Sara discovers that she has walked into a trap. A trap that will send her into a pocket dimension where she must fight to keep the Witchblade or die. As she battles for her life, she will discover that Kenneth Irons is more powerful than she imagined.
The Story: Bennett continues to craft a thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. There are so many great moments as a fan of the character as well as her world to enjoy. I loved the confrontation with Irons and how the character displayed his power. Things are heating up for Sara in this story and every moment thrilled me from the action to the betrayal and finally to what could be coming next for her and the Witchblade.
The Art: Cafaro delivers stunning art throughout the issue. The visuals are brilliantly designed and beautifully detailed.
