The Rundown: Grifter finds a possible way home while the rest of the team learns about a new threat.
Lynch has arrived to offer the remaining members of the team the opportunity to work for him and take down Halo. Emp is on the run as Halliday has taken over the company with the help of the Court of Owls and is using VooDoo to find him and the rest of the team. A move that will have some unexpected consequences when they discover there is more to VooDoo than meets the eye.
On the parallel Earth, Cole finds Adrianna and she informs him that there is only one chance for him to get home. When Zealot and his brother arrive to stop him, Cole is put in the position where he is forced to choose between them or kill to go home.
The Story: Rosenberg crafts a daring, action packed adventure in this issue. The story has some great, dark elements and all of the characters have moments that are both engaging and exciting. There is great tension throughout the story and I love the buildup of that tension and its execution into a fantastic cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Kim and Derenick’s art is fantastic. The action is visually thrilling throughout and both parts of the story have awesome, detailed and visually compelling moments.
