The Rundown: Halo continues to implode as the fugitive team has a run in with the Dark Knight.
After her dramatic departure from Halo, VooDoo finds herself being rescued by Spartan before he makes the mistake of going up against the Seven Soldiers. The fight takes an immediate dark turn that forces Cray to make a dramatic decision.
At the same time, the team decides to join Lynch and discover that Marlowe has escaped and is the one funding their new enterprise. As they attempt to get out of the city, they find themselves face to face with Black Canary, Arsenal and Batman.
The Story: Rosenberg continues to craft a great series with this issue. The action is fantastic. The intrigue is solid and engaging. The surprises are well done and the arrival of Batman is handled brilliantly. As everything continues to twist and turn around these characters, I look forward to seeing what happens next in this series.
The Art: Segovia and Derenick deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. The art perfectly captures the action-packed tone of the story.
