The Rundown: Stygian and Barrera pay a visit to a friend to perform a dangerous exorcism on a child.

Stygian and Barrera make their way to the country to pay a visit to Maru. After learning that the spirit of a dead priest has been haunting the area and a demon has possibly possessed young Alex, Stygian realizes that there might be more than just a demon possession. Something that is connected to the family horse farm.

After discovering that there is something wrong with one of the horses, Stygian burns the remains and heads back in to perform the exorcism without Barrera. When they see Alex is gone, everyone sees that the boy has left the house and what he does next might be a precursor to more dangerous things to come.

The Story: Moreno crafts a thoughtful, engaging and compelling story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the tone of this story and the world it exists in. Moreno creates some unique and compelling characters in this story as well and there are so many intriguing layers to the story and the world of this story has grabbed my attention.

The Art: Rebelka crafts some beautiful and disturbing imagery throughout this issue. I love the visual style of this series and how it delivers stylish visuals.
