Another 80’s classic is getting a Hollywood reboot as Warner Brothers gears up to bring audiences back to the world of The Lost Boys with a new feature.
According to an exclusive in The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Brothers has already started the ball rolling on a reimagining of the 80’s cult classic teen vampire flick. The studio has brought on writer Randy McKinnon to write the script for the film. McKinnon is the staff writer for series like Chambers and Grand Army. Besides The Lost Boys, McKinnon is also writing the screenplay for DC’s Static Shock feature film.
Jonathan Entwistle has been brought on board to direct. Entwistle is the director of shows like The End of the F***ing World and I Am Not Okay With This. He has also been brought on board to director the next Power Rangers film. The film will star Jaeden Martell from It: Chapter 1and 2 as well as Knives Out alongside Noah Jupe from A Quiet Place and The Undoing.
