The Rundown: A young man uses new technology to become part of a new world.

A new technology has emerged called mind walking and it allows people, for a price, to use human proxies to experience things they never have before. It’s also highly illegal and dangerous. Justin Bright is a young man looking for an opportunity in the city. Unfortunately, his prospects are thin.
After having an encounter with a proxy, he is brought to the man’s expensive home and given the opportunity to become one himself. As Justin finds himself entering a new and interesting world of technology, he finds a small measure of success. He also hides a deadly secret.
The Story: Parrott crafts an interesting and surprising story in this first issue. The story has an interesting premise and an interesting main character while creating a new and engaging world of technology to explore. The conflicts are set up well and everything comes together to a compelling and thoroughly surprising twist ending I was not expecting.
The Art: Carlini delivers great art throughout the issue. I really like the visual style and how fluid and kinetic the imagery is.
