The Rundown: The expedition finds some unexpected relief in a new part of the country, but the mysteries continue to grow.
After their harrowing ordeal in the previous zone, the expedition finds itself in a world filled with technological wonders. After meeting another Uncle Sam, the team are taken to the tech inspired city of Unity. Their ride through the city gives them a chance to see another part America and how this zone uses technology in their everyday lives. It also gives Ace the opportunity to conduct another experiment. One that will show how time continues to act differently in the US.
After meeting with their mysterious new host, the team is given a place to stay and regroup. Unfortunately, there is another person who will discover Unity. Someone they thought they had escaped.
The Story: Snyder and Soule deliver an impressive look at a new part of their twsited version of America. The story contines to add layers of mystery and drama throughout. Mysteries that are engaging both to the characters and the reader. I continue to be impressed with the scale and scope of this story and cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Camuncoli and Marcello Grassi deliver some impressive art in this issue. There are some beautiful backgrounds throughout and the characters look great. I really enjoyed the final pages and their buildup to the reveal.
