Deron GenerallyAfter losing director Shawn Levy from the long-gestating Uncharted film, there is now news that the production has found someone new to take over.
According to Deadline, 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg will direct the Uncharted film based on the Naughty Dog video game. Sony Pictures/Columbia will distribute the film with Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker working on a new draft of the screenplay. Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, Ari Arad are producing the Arad/Atlas Entertainment Production film.
Tom Holland is still attached to the film as adventurer Nathan Drake.
Dan Trachtenberg is the director of series like Black Mirror and the upcoming Dynamite Entertainment series The Boys.
