You’ve got to know something is seriously wrong when there is an army of Madrox dupes large enough to be seen from orbit.
All over the world, attacks from creatures displaced in time are being reported and there are injuries everywhere. Even with the loss of Kitty and Warren weighing on everyone’s minds, the responsibility of being heroes comes first and Jean decides to create a strike team to take down dinosaurs that are rampaging through Montana. When Jean decides to use Cerebro to try to locate Kitty, she detects the army of Madrox’s and sends a team to investigate while she goes after the dinosaurs.
At the same time, Hank travels to the location of the blackbird crash and finds a mystery item among the wreckage.
As both teams leap into battle, Psylocke cannot find the brain of the prime Madrox, Jean and her team battle the rogue dinosaurs while they deal with the theory that all of these things are connected and the kids left at the mansion have to deal with an angry mob of protestors on their lawn and the emergence of a mystery man who claims to be their salvation.
The mystery at the core of these stories continues to take shape and it is an entertaining ride for the reader to take to determine who is behind these attacks as well as the twists and turns this story is taking in relation to Jamie Madrox and his mission. Brisson, Thompson and Rosenberg are creating something interesting with this series and this issue continues to spark my interest in where this story is going and what will happen next.
Silva has some great art in this issue and the action scenes are amazing to view. The art has an amazing flow with the pace of the story.
