The Rundown: Silver Sable and her team are on the hunt for the new Spider-Man in town and will use a classic Spidey foe to get him.
Kurt continues to try to help people, including his wayward and mentally compromised mother Mystique. After running into an old friend, he finds himself in a battle against Rhino who has been conscripted by Orchis to bring in the new Spider-Man. At the same time, Silver Sable and her team work behind the scenes to trap the hero.
After their trap has some unexpected consequences, Sable moves in to bring Kurt down herself. Unfortunately, she discovers he is a lot more difficult to catch than she expected and more charming than she could have hoped.
The Story: A fun, funny and charming issue from Spurrier. There are some great character moments in it and I love the moments with Kurt sparring with the demonic voice inside him. The action is great as well, but the best thing about the story is the action filled flirtation between Kurt and Silver Sable. It was fun to see and made me want more.
The Art: Garbett delivers stunning visuals throughout the issue. The story has a fantastic pace to it and Garbett keeps that pace perfectly with the visual sequences in the issue.
