The Rundown: Peter’s first forays into the city with his powers take some missteps.

Peter Parker has been trying to be a hero for two weeks, but he is learning quickly there is a learning curve to being one as well as trying to maintain his home life and his new secret from his family. At the same time, Fisk is feeling the pressure from attacks by a new vigilante and the people who control him want it fixed.

When Ben and Jameson start putting the pieces together regarding the two new masked figures in the city and decide that it might be time to do something about it. Peter finds himself choosing a path, but it comes with some embarrassing issues during his first encounter.

The Story: I really love the world of this story and how familiar and unique every element is from the family dynamics to the humor. I like the different elements of this world and how they work together to get Peter to a place I want to see him get to as a character. I really liked the humor in the issue and the bigger mystery being created within the plot.

The Art: Checchetto delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the immersive imagery with both the characters and action.
