Orion Pictures has set a release date for the third installment in the Bill & Ted franchise and now they’ve added new cast members to the upcoming film.

According to Deadline, Bill & Ted Face The Music will feature the longtime friends getting into a new time traveling adventure with their adult daughters. Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving have been cast in the film. Lundy-Paine will be playing Billie Logan, the daughter of Ted “Theodore” Logan played by Keanu Reeves. Weaving will play Thea Preston, daughter of Bill S. Preston Esq. According to the Deadline article;

They join their dads, now middle-aged best friends, as they set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe.

Brigette Lundy-Paine is known for her role on the series Atypical as well as the films The Glass Castle and Downsizing. Samara Weaving is known for roles in the miniseries Picnic At Hanging Rock and SMILF as well as the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Bill & Ted Face The Music is set for release August 21, 2020.
