I am a huge fan of the Marvel Legends series of action figures. I have a small, growing collection of the highly detailed retail figures in my home and will be adding some new ones soon during this Black Panther weekend.
Toy Fair International was held this weekend in New York and they showcased some new Marvel Legends figures that fans will absolutely love when they are released this year.
Black Panther
The Black Panther Marvel Legends Figures are already on the shelves and I will definitely be getting not only T’Challa but my favorite breakout character Okoye. Two more Black Panther characters were introduced this year which are Erik Killmonger and Everett Ross played by Michael B. Jordan and Martin Freeman in the film.
Marvel Studios
To honor the first ten years of Marvel Studios, a line of Marvel Legends figures depicting likenesses from those films will be coming soon. There will be multiple two-packs including Tony Stark and Iron Man MK I, Hulk vs Hulkbuster from Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America and Crossbones from Captain America: Civil War. There will also be single figures including Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man’s Mark VII suit from Avengers. Rounding out the sets will be a three pack featuring a variant of the War Machine armor, Pepper Potts and Trevor Slattery/The Mandarin from Iron Man 3.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
Ant-Man and the Wasp is the next film from Marvel Studios and there will be new Marvel Legends figures to commemorate the release. Toys R Us will get an exclusive two pack from the Astonishing Ant-Man series while there will be individual action figures for the upcoming film with and without helmets. The Ant-Man figure has a pretty unique expression for the likeness of Paul Rudd.
