A group of people eagerly awaits the arrival of a Stark and when a helicopter arrives, Arno Stark emerges. The half-brother of Tony Stark immediately gets to work replacing the arm of a famous musician in a procedure that allows him to get feeling back in a matter of hours. Arno continues to travel around the world finding new and interesting people to help with an eye towards using technology to help the world. When he gets a call about a unique issue involving cattle, he jumps at the chance to help.
When he arrives, he is taken through the facility and shown all of the processes. When Arno discovers something strange in the behavior of the cattle, he devises a means to help. As he and the men who brought him to the ranch get ready to celebrate, he makes a discovery about the cattle that causes a devastating stampede based on his miscalculation. As the sole survivor of the incident, Arno turns to an unlikely source to help him and we discover there is a dark streak running through the supposed philanthropist.
This is an interesting issue. Slott shifts the focus away from Tony and the issues at Stark Unlimited and devotes some time to creating an intriguing character in Arno Stark. There are layers to this character and when the reader discovers the questionable things that he does in the course of his mission, it adds additional drama to the story. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between the two brothers changes and grows over time.
The art in the issue is great. I really liked the style of the art and characters. Everything popped off the page and there was a great use of color that enhanced the awesome panel compositions.
