Deron GenerallyThe live action Titans series coming to the DC Comics streaming service has cast its second member of the Doom Patrol.
The first member of Doom Patrol that is on the series is Ryan Potter as Beast Boy. Doom Patrol was announced as appearing on the series via a Tweet from Geoff Johns. The next member of the Doom Patrol to be announced is April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Girl. Bowlby is known for her roles on series like Drop Dead Diva and Two and a Half Men.
Bowlby will appear on episode 5 of the Titans series. According to the official description of the character; “An actress on the rise, Rita Farr was exposed to a toxic gas that altered her cellular structure — which, in the comics, allows her to expand or shrink her body at will. Longing for the days of old, Rita finds a place for herself among The Doom Patrol.”
There is no reported premiere date for either the series or the service at this time.
