The Rundown: Tatuso Edward and Agent Nadia Wells are stranded in the past, while Helgi and Fang try to find out more information regarding the FBI.
The story opens in 2010. Tatsuo Edwards is at the beginning of his career with the Syndicate and has several questions for his partner. We then cut to the year 2093. An older Tatsuo is trapped with Agent Nadia Wells after a time travel event. When they are captured by an unexpected foe, Tatsuo suggests a trade. Later, Tatsuo attempts to negotiate with the leader of the Union. Meanwhile, in the current time period of 2141, Helgi and Fang discuss way to deal with the escape of Tatuso and Wells. Helgi then convinces an associate to help with a secret endeavor. And Wells receives a message involving the time period of 2093.
The Story: Shalvey and McConville deal with some interesting concepts in this thriller. I like the idea of disparate groups using time travel as a means to gain an advantage. And I am interested in the ideologies of both the Union and the Syndicate. I can’t wait to find out more in the next chapter.
The Art: Joe Palmer uses a traditional comic book style that is very appealing. And the color palate changes with the time period. This is a good looking issues that really compliments the story.
