The Rundown: The Thundercats find themselves in battle against the combined Mu’Tant forces.
Cheetarah continues her recon mission and discovers a hidden base of Mu’Tants who have mapped the area around the base the Thundercats call home. After discovering that the creatures are planning an assault on the Thundercats, she races off to find them.
Panthro and the others discover the army of their enemies heading towards them as the body of Calica is looked over by a familiar face. As the battle erupts, Lion-O takes command to lead the Thundercats into victory, but their battle will take a destructive turn.
The Story: Shalvey continues to create a fun, thrilling and entertaining adventure in this series. This issue is filled with great action and thrills. I love the growing tension and suspense throughout the story as well as the growing mystery with characters like Calica and Jagga. The story creates some thrilling action in the final act with the Thundercats fighting the forces of the Mu’Tants and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Moss delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals capture the thrilling action of the story and the combat within it.
