The Rundown: Bucky’s next mission brings him to Hong Kong and a confrontation with American Kaiju.
John Walker finds himself in Hong Kong preparing for a mission into Latveria. After getting into a short fight with Shang Chi, Bucky goes after US Agent’s partner in the mission and discovers too late that he is being controlled by Red Skull who activates his other personality, the giant American Kaiju.
As the giant monster takes to the streets, Shang Chi calls in his team to rescue civilians and gives Bucky a tool that could even the odds between the two.
The Story: Kelly and Lanzing deliver a fun and entertaining story with some great twists and turns. The story has some great action throughout and delivers not only thrills, but some laughs as well because of the absurdity of the premise.
The Art: Borges delivers some beautiful art in the issue. I love the wonderfully detailed environments and the visual style of the issue.
