Overseas, the film is opening well before it bows to domestic box office this week. The third entry in the Thor series had a budget of about $180 million and is on track to not only recoup its budget but also be one of the biggest November openings of a blockbuster in a long time with an estimated $125 Million dollar projected take in its opening weekend. The top five overseas markets where the film is doing well include China, Russia, the UK, Brazil and Mexico. It will be interesting to see how the more comedic take on the Asgardian hero will play domestically, but all signs point to a positive reaction for the film.

Until the film opens, here’s a hilarious clip from Thor: Ragnarok with Thor and Loki arguing about an escape tactic.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters November 3rd.
