The Rundown: Potential allies and enemies alike try to force the Witcher to make a choice.
Geralt has returned to the fortress of Ekerot and discovers not only a prisoner of the people he came from, but also how they have ritually murdered people and why. Telling the prisoner that he can take him back to his people, Geralt and a small company head out into the forest.
After coming upon a monster, the prisoner tries to tell them not to engage, but a battle commences and when the leader emerges with the daughter of a recent victim, he gives Geralt a choice of who to serve. A choice that will have unexpected consequences for the Witcher.
The Story: Bartosz Sztybor delivers another brilliantly intense and engaging story with some awesome moral conundrums for the Witcher. The action is intense and the plot is wonderfully complicated. I continue to be immersed in this series and everything comes together with a fantastic cliffhanger ending that makes me excited to see how the story ends.
The Art: Rerekina delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The imagery is fantastic and the art is visually engaging throughout.
