The Rundown: Geralt discovers his latest bounty has another Witcher already on the hunt.

Geralt finds himself outside of a small town fighting a dangerous creature and rescuing a local farmer. As he makes his way into town, he discovers that he is not the only monster hunter about as several have descended to hunt down a vampire. To make matters worse, Geralt discovers he is not the only Witcher in town as well when he goes to the local pub for a drink.
When he pays a visit to a possible witness to the creature, he hears her story before a wolf attack sends him out of the village to defend a small boy. An attack that seems to be a distraction allowing the vampire to strike again.
The Story: Spurrier crafts a dark and intriguing story for Geralt in this issue. The story has an interesting premise and doesn’t wait to hit the reader with action, thrills and a compelling threat in the forms of both the vampire and the other Witcher. This first issue definitely grabbed my attention with its premise, characters, pacing and action. I will definitely be picking up the follow up to see what happens next.
The Art: Green delivers some great art in the issue. The visuals are fun, engaging and filled with great details.
